Biostatistics is a prolific part of the life of any health care professional. A basic knowledge of biostatistical principles is considered essential, whether you are a medical student reading about the epidemiology of diseases, a researcher working on publishing your next paper, or a practitioner looking through the heaps of literature during the challenging times of multiple pandemics to know how to best provide for your patients.
We understand that the world of biostatistics can be daunting at first; all those numbers, symbols and strange terminology can be a thing of horror to the uninitiated! However, as you acquaint yourself with this beautiful subject, you will find that, like all other sciences, it all makes perfect sense once seen from the right perspective!
And this is where this course comes into the equation. As fresh graduates, we understand the frustrations of our fellow students, what subjects they face trouble with, the pitfalls they suffer from and what they want and need. We have designed and implemented this course to address all these points. You will find this course to be specific in its important details yet all-encompassing and digestible to medical students and professionals of all levels alike.
This course is for statistical novices or beginners studying or practicing in the biomedical sciences (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, medical techniques, biology, biochemistry, medical physics, etc.).
